"To Bring Them Comfort” - the first piece in the HEAL collection.
An angel specifically sent to protect children and people - especially those who are trapped in suffering - she carries comfort and joy in her wake, and healing in her presence.
To be a bearer of light and comfort to those in a season of extreme struggle and pain is so needed. To be an Angel of Rescue, a light-bearer who brings comfort and joy to a weary soul, I can only imagine as one of the most worthy tasks…
I reached out to my dear friend and trafficking warrior Elizabeth and asked her if anything came to her mind when seeing this piece. Her response gave me chills: “It feels like she has pain in her eyes… but not her own pain. Maybe this is pain she is feeling from others, or someone she knows... like she is feeling it in a helpful way.” This spoke deeply to me and followed a prompting I had felt about the significance of her eyes reflecting the suffering of others as she carries light to them.
When thinking about sharing this piece… I wondered how much of it I should share as literal, based on experiences I had seen. But in asking, I always feel the same way: the world needs more of this. So, *insert deep breath* here are some significant representations to note.
❤ The rings of pink represent layers of angelic energy around her.
❤ The gold lines are symbolic of healing, truth, and comfort.
❤ Her skin texture is intentional and represents her existing in another dimension that is not the same as ours, but holds similar properties.
❤ The ball symbolizes a great many things, but essentially it is full of healing power and the truth of all things good...
